The Kingdom Assembly of Iran, indebted to the ancient tradition of Cyrus the Great, stands firmly on the principles of freedom, security, and happiness for all human beings. However, we cannot accept the two-state solution on the ancestral lands of the Jewish people.
This Assembly, while condemning the recent United Nations resolution, regards it as a clear example of legitimizing the occupation of the land of Israel by outsiders. Such an approach is not only an uncivilized act of granting legitimacy to aggression and terror, but also poses a grave danger in establishing misguided precedents for the future of humanity.
The duty of the United Nations should not be the imposition of such resolutions, but rather the obligation of non-indigenous Arab migrants to cease their claims of sovereignty and return to their ancestral homelands.
